NTA JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023- Check Marking Scheme and Total Marks
The national testing agency is responsible for conducting the JEE exam. The exam is conducted in two sessions firstly in the month of January and secondly in the month of April. The student can appear in both the sessions of the JEE main exam and the session in which the student scores better will be considered. The JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023 is divided into two parts namely the Paper 1 exam pattern and Paper 2 exam pattern. Except for the Drawing test for B.Arch., both the papers are conducted in online mode.

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023
The NTA conducts 2 exams for JEE mains, paper 1 is for the students who are willing to opt courses of B.E/B. Tech and Paper 2 is for the students who are eager to opt for B.Arch. and B. Planning.

JEE Main Paper-1 Exam Pattern 2023
The exam is conducted in online mode. It is a 3-hour paper, for students with benchmark disabilities will be given 4 hours. The question paper is centred on three subjects namely physics, chemistry, and maths. In total there are 90 questions and need to attempts 75 Question (25 questions from each subject). 4 marks will be allotted to the student for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer, in case of numerical value answer, there will be no negative marking. JEE Main Exam Pattern includes a paper of 300 marks. the student can choose any 1 option in 13 languages as there medium of paper (Candidates from Gujarat, Daman & Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli can opt for Gujarati as well).

JEE Main Paper-2 Exam Pattern 2023
The exam is conducted in online mode except for the Drawing section in B.Arch. the student can choose Hindi or English as there medium of paper (Candidates from Gujarat, Daman & Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli can opt for Gujarati as well). The paper is of 3 hours.
The total number of questions in B.Arch. is 77 and in B.Plan, 100 Questions. The total number of marks allotted is 400. As per the JEE Main Marking Scheme 2021, every correct answer will get 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect mark, in case of numerical value answer there will be no negative marking.

JEE Main Syllabus by NTA
In order to draft the strategies for the preparation, it is mandatory for the students’ to know about the syllabus of the exam.
